Contraception Service

Description

Contraception Service provides contraceptive methods, including long acting reversible methods and emergency contraception to all, including young people under the age of 16. Up to date, reliable information given to allow patients to make informed decisions in relation to their sexual and reproductive health needs.

Referral Criteria

Patient/client or female of child bearing age or male. For Enhanced Access information and criteria see attached document 'Contraception Service Enhanced Access Information Criteria'

The following list of referrers can access this service by calling the telephone number or via CCG during the access times listed:

  • Health Care Professionals

Monday & Wednesday:

9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 3.30pm
