New Nutrition Guidelines for Care Homes

The PHA this week launched the new Nutrition Guidelines for Care Homes designed to strengthen the standard of care in NI. The guidance promotes a ‘food first’ approach, ensuring that meals, snacks and drinks are central to care delivery, while supporting staff to prevent malnutrition and dehydration and respond to residents’ individual needs.
