Urgent Ultrasound Doppler of Lower Limb for possible DVT. 

• Patient to be suspected of having a DVT.
• Clinical details of patient and Wells Score required (please note that a low Wells score will require a D-Dimer prior to booking USS)
• USS slots are available mornings Mon-Fri and Sundays am only. 
• Please inform patients to attend USS Department (Main X-Ray) at date and time given.
• Patient’s will likely require cover with therapeutic anticoagulation until scan completed.
• Patient then presents to ED following the scan which has been performed in ultrasound/ X-Ray Department.
