Perinatal Mental Health Team

Description

Providing care for women in the perinatal period experiencing mental illness or mental ill health, from 12 weeks gestation to 12 months postnatal. The service targets women who are within severe to moderate category and provides intensive input for Mums & Babies with the aim of early intervention and prevention

Referral Criteria

See attached Referral Criteria and GP Pathway

Service Access
  • GP referrals are received via the Mental health Booking Centre
  • Referrals are accepted from Mental health services via PARIS / Encompass
  • Referrals are accepted directly via referral for (see attached) from Maternity Services and Health Visitors

Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
